Connie's journey into painting started in black and white with charcoal portraits. A natural attraction to color lured her to the beauty of watercolor and then to acrylic and oil, and these styles still capture her to this day.

"Painting brings a tranquility and peace into my life and I think my paintings reflect the pure joy I experience in creating them. When I look out at the kaleidoscope of colors that awaits each of us every day, I can not express the magnificence of it in words, and so I try to capture the feeling with paint and paper."

Connie is inspired by the world around around her (near and far), and truly wishes that her paintings might inspire others to look at that world a little more closely to see all of the amazing beauty that surrounds us.
